SALT ’Site Roundup

Bringing you updates from the SALT website including fresh resources in the Dive Deeper library, traceability projects on the Seascape map, blogs in the Story Hub, and upcoming events on the Get Involved Calendar.

General Updates

As 2020 comes to a close, the SALT team is already anticipating 2021. There is a lot to look forward to in the new year, including SALT's new Comprehensive eCDT Principles. You can help us finalize this promising project by sharing this opportunity for a Digital Supply Chain Consultant with your networks.

Speaking of opportunities, USAID Peru has issued a request for information (RFI) on IUU fishing along the coasts of Peru, Ecuador, and Colombia. You can respond to their RFI here

SALT also applauds this excellent anti-IUU news coming out of Japan!

FishWise learned a lot about electronic traceability through working with their retail partners. Now they share some of those experiences in the newest Story Hub entry, "The Truth About Electronic Traceability: Lessons Learned from Working with the Seafood Industry."

The latest community feature is from ICTworks on "How to Design Inclusive Digital Programming in International Development." This is increasingly relevant as COVID-19 drives activities online, exacerbating social and economic divides.
