SALT ’Site Roundup

Bringing you updates from the SALT website including fresh resources in the Dive Deeper library, traceability projects on the Seascape map, blogs in the Story Hub, and upcoming events on the Get Involved Calendar.

General Updates

As we mark the end of SALT's 3rd year, we look forward to sharing more traceability knowledge while looking back on the lessons learned. With that in mind, here are the recordings of the Traceability Traps & Triumphs event, and our recently released video with the Nature Conservancy regarding their seafood traceability experience in Belize.

We're also very excited to announce Yayasan Masyarakat Dan Perikanan Indonesia (MDPI) as the third SALT small grant recipient. Visit our website to learn more about their project supporting seafood traceability.

The fifth and final installment in SALT's Overcoming Barriers Series deals with the "Role of Human Behavior in Electronic Traceability Implementation." View the completed series in its entirety here.

The latest Community Feature in our Story Hub spotlights a new interactive tool from The Pew Charitable Trusts, looking at where illegally caught seafood is at risk of entering the market.

This month we welcomed OpsSmart Global to the SALT Seascape map of seafood traceability efforts. If you would like to see your organization featured, let us know!

So far, the Get Involved event calendar is empty in October. Do you know of a traceability event we should share? Send it to us! In the meantime, here are recordings from some key events in the past month.
